Race For Life

Today at Blackheath, London I took part in an event which is very important to me, Race For Life. Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. All the money raised can help more people survive cancer.
So today in aid of running the 5k Race For Life; myself, my Mum and my cousin all dressed up as fairy's and ran the race in aid of raising awareness, and raising money to help more people beat cancer. If you haven't already experienced Race For Life, then I would advise you to sign up. Not just for the fundraising, but for the amazing feeling that you gain once you cross the finish line, the spectacular atmosphere from the thousands and thousands of woman that all race together, either dressing up, cheering, or even dying their dogs pink! It's an amazing feeling to take part in that sea of pink! And not forgetting the cheering crowds and your loved ones who are all very proud of you, your fundraising will mean even more people will experience the joy of surviving cancer.
Here we are at the end of the race, with our medals feeling proud!

Cancer Research UK is the world's leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research. They are fighting cancer on all fronts, finding new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat it to save more lives. They are entirely funded by the public. With our help, we can ensure more people beat cancer!
So come on ladies! Wear it pink & wear it proud!

Together we will beat cancer!
